Review content:
We rented Cades Cabin in the Pidgeon Forge area. The view was good. But the road is in terrible shape.\r
The pool table was useless, as it had a big hole in the felt, it was in poor shape, out of level and there was no chalk.\r

Beds were in less than satisfactory shape.\r
\r
I had to remove about 12 pounds of waste from the grille, and spent about 45 minutes cleaning it out before we could use it.\r

The cable tv was useless, as it was local channels only.\r
They didn't have a broom, mop, extra blankets, no instructions as to empty all the trash bins and put dishes in the dishwasher or anything. Really, bare bones - the spreads/quilts had holes in them - very ragged. The mattress on the bottom bedroom looked like something found on the side of the road - springs hanging out of the bottom. The floors were not clean - got your feet dirty. The mantle and other areas were dusty and had some dead moths on them. The only lamp in the bottom bedroom was in bad repair and I had to put the socket back into the holder to use it. The railing on the bottom deck had broken rungs - a clear safety hazard. Now, about the road, we could not get out of the driveway, and almost had to have a tow, because of the conditions of the drive. My SUV was teetering on the two diagonal corners, and I had to get the crew to push and bounce us to get out of there. I called to complain, on a Saturday about the drive conditions with no response - the person I talked to called the manager and owner with no response at all. I will never, ever rent from this agency again - they get your money and that's it.
