I showed up on Cinco De Mayo.. to pick up a carry out of sweet and sour chicken...This was about 7 pm and the place was DEAD..which is to be expected since probably nearly half the population of Grand Rapids is Hispanic...So they were elsewhere indulging in Mexican food. \r \r While waiting for my carryout (5 minutes from phone call to pick up) ..I wandered past their fish tank...expecting little cute fishy..for display...No no... these fishes were for eatiin' as were the lobsters..\r \r They have an extensive seafood menu for a chinese joint....from Jelly fish to grouper..to shrimps to lobsters..\r \r The restaurant looks like it could seat 100-120..typical asian decor...and its' stuck in an asian marketplace/mall so the restrooms are shared with the mall outside of the restaurant from what I could tell..which might make it easy for a ""dine and dash"".\r \r While waiting I looked across the cashier and over her shoulder were a couple of dead as doornail ducks swinging from a hook or two and probably part of a pig.. I did not see any Jellyfish floating about.\r \r I grabbed my carryout and ate it....the chicken part was mostly cooked OK, the rice I think was underdone and tasted not like white rice...but white rice with cardboard or maybe a bit woody. The goo the sweet and sour chicken came with was fine... nothing special all in all, ..so I went to bed happy maybe a little bit MSG'd... If I have the time , I'd like to give this joint another try...prices ranged from 9-25 bucks ..depending on what species you were consuming. Pros: Talk about FAST carry out... Cons: container leaked.
