Although I rated this company ""1 star"" they are nowhere near deserving of even that!\r
\r
Having used Movers of the Valley 2 times in the past and being completely satisfied we decided to hire them for a third move as well as moderate packing - BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!\r
\r
-Once they arrived, they ""hung out"" for over 30 minutes without lifting a finger\r
\r
- Only CASH was accepted -???\r
\r
-They did NOT wrap our glass belongings resulting in SEVERAL broken items including 2 crystal vases and numerous picture frames\r
\r
-Our PERSONAL BED SHEETS were used to ""secure"" items\r
\r
-Our TOOTHBRUSHES were packed in the same box as our SHOES\r
\r
-SEVERAL items were left at the old house after they ""completed"" moving\r
\r
* Moving crew showed up 30 minutes late causing me to miss SW Gas connection at our new residence resulting in no hot water/gas until 4 DAYS LATER!!!!\r

* The movers were careless and inconsiderate when wrapping and packing my belongings resulting in several damaged and/or broken items as well as dry-cleaning needed for suits and silk ties that were stuffed in boxes rather that wardrobe boxes\r
\r
* Items were left in house that were instructed to be packed and moved (several kitchen drawers, master bathroom shower area, curtains, front door mats, 5 gallon water containers, cleaning supplies - mops, brooms, garbage cans (2), among other small items)\r
\r
* Trash (empty drinking bottles, snack wrappers) was left outside the front door by the movers\r
\r
* Knives and other sharp kitchen tools were thrown into boxes - boxes were not labeled and created an extremely unsafe situation upon unpacking \r
\r
* Small electronics (cable boxes, dvd player, etc.) were NOT wrapped for protection and the cords were tangled and extremely difficult to undo\r
\r
-This move took OVER 13 HOURS at $180/hr!!\r

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!\r

After SEVERAL phone calls were made to the company, BOTH THE ""MANAGER"" AND THE ""OWNER"" REFUSED TO SPEAK WITH ME DIRECTLY and instead relayed messages for the through their front office. No attempt to compensate was made - not even an apology!\r

Brian the so-called ""manager"" is rude and clearly has no concept of customer service.\r
\r
Tony the supposed ""OWNER"" is a joke! Will not take responsibility for his reckless, irresponsible, inconsiderate staff! POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS OWNER!!\r
