Review content:
First Class all around! I don't usually write reviews but felt so compelled because of the continued great experiences we have at Hickory Creek Kennels. We recently had to travel for a couple of weeks and boarded our 7 month old German Shorthair Pointer Maggie with Bob, just as we had done with our late Cocker Spaniel over many years. As always everything was immaculate and professional, with fantastic facilities. Even so, we were obviously a little anxious as it was our new pup's first boarding experience, especially at such an impressionable age....which leads me to the reason I write this review. When we picked up Maggie after our trip, she was 100% the way she was when we dropped her off....happy, excited, healthy, and as lively as ever. German Shorthairs need lots of exercise so as part of the boarding Bob had ensured she got plenty, including a daily walk in the woods (as well as giving her the scheduled flea and tick treatments!) I think she may have had it a bit better than at home actually !!!\r

So besides the great location and heavenly environment for a dog, Bob runs a first class kennel with his genuine care and love for animals represented in every detail. Thanks Bob and as always we will recommend Hickory Creek Kennels to anyone who asks us which is the best kennel around !!
