When my pipes froze this winter--on a Sunday no less--A1 provided friendly and helpful service. Shon, the technician, was awesome. He kept working until the job was done, even though he had to check/thaw out a few different areas of the house. He kept a friendly professional atitude, despite having worked overtime all week because of the weather. He gave me his full time and attention and got the job done. Some people have complained that A1 is expensive, and perhaps that is true. But I think they are worth the money. In the end, you get what you pay for. I've had some really awful (and cheap) service from fly-by-night companies that ended up costing me more in the long run. A1 has been in business for many years and knows what they are doing. My only complaint was that the 24-hour emergency number was very hard to track down on their website. I had to try 4 different numbers before I reached an operator. However, once I was connected, the operator was friendly and helpful.
