Review content:
I've always loved Edgefield for the beautiful grounds and amazing deals on wine tasting and now that I live close to it I visit it at least once a month. My husband and I will often trot over to have dinner at the Power House then take a walk up the the golf course bar and then back down to the wine tasting area... it's a great place to sit and visit with friends or listen to live music outside of the Little Red Shed. It's also a great place to stay- except on the weekends if you want a quiet night. As I read the reviews I""m annoyed with the over and over again ""and there's no tv in your room!"" For me, I go to McMenamins because it's inexpensive, I can usually find privacy, and I can GET AWAY from the phone and tv! I don't want a tv in my room when I'm on vacation- I'd rather go out and experience the hotel I'm staying at our the city I'm in! Pros: Beer Selection, Quaint and Relaxing Atmosphere, Great Deals, Beautiful Grounds, Lots to walk around and see Cons: McMenamin's well known average service, loud on weekends
