Glasses on First was recommended to me by a friend who had used them, and since I was sick of the attitude problems and lack of frame selections at the chain stores, where every frame on display looked just like the next one, I gave them a try.
They are very patient with customers, and have a sense of the importance of a purchase of glasses, which are very expensive and, unless one is quite free-spending, something one has to live with every single day for the next few years. Their prices are not the cheapest in town, but very fair, and their workmanship and excellent service more than make up for it.
I happen to have selected a frame style that has proven to be ""high-maintenance"" and has required several return visits for adjustments. The staff at Glasses on First have been very patient, and my problems have been quickly and cheerfully resolved.
They also know lenses inside and out, and can suggest what sorts will give the best possible vision and appearance for your situation.
