This is the first bad review I've given - ever! I'm 50. I don't visit the doctor very often. Only for the yearly check-up. I haven't been too critical in the past even though I've never seen my actual doctor at CLFP. It's always been a doctors nurse or a nurse practitioner. I recently went to CLFP for my yearly check-up and they asked if I was a new patient. No, I responded - I have been coming here for 10 years. I'm sorry, we have no record of you she said. I was then asked to fill out a plethora of paperwork as if I was a new patient. The paperwork was very redundant. I filled out my name, dob etc. at least three different times then waited 30 min for my doctor to arrive after I was seated in the check up room. As the doctor proceeded with my check-up he asked me if I wanted the proctology exam. Of course not, I said but, if it's in my best interest - let's do it. His reply was that there was no conclusive data that the proctology exam gave dependable results. Hmmm, awkward moment. Of course, I didn't want to be the first guy that insisted on the finger so, I opted out. I got the feeling that he was more uncomfortable giving the exam than I was receiving. Imagine that! He then said he'd send me next door for blood work and bid me adieu. I said ""Wait! aren't you supposed to schedule a colonoscopy or something? ""Oh yes"" he said. ""You'll have to call your GI specialist to arrange that."" ""Perhaps you could recommend somebody"" I said to which he replied ""Give me a minute and I'll see what I can find"". He returned with a couple business cards and said have a good day. I did my blood work and was told it would be posted on their new website. It has been at least 3 weeks since and nothing has been posted. I called them this a.m. and after wading through their lengthy messaging system, I was told they would get back with me. Still waiting.
