Review content:
Holy cow...all of a sudden, it seems like this salon is Portland's new favorite battlefield. Not wanting to add to the personal notes that these reviews have turned towards. Let's rate it like this:\r \r A little bit about the scenario...\r \r 1: I have difficult hair and lots of it\r 2: I wanted to grow it out long, like a frickin' princess\r 3: I didn't want to cut any length off ever, since I'm growing it out\r 4: I didn't want to be spoken to in a salon, or anywhere for that matter, as though I am a preschooler or a puppy.\r \r Enter salon 220...\r \r 1: No puppy talk, thank god. I am a grown person, and almost princess for crying out loud\r 2: I was told in order to grow out my thick, frizzy hair, I need to take off some of my damaged length, and keep it layered so it doesn't look like a brick. (Bricks aren't very royal). This will allow me to move forward in the princess process.\r 3: Received excellent cut, and some lovely highlights\r 4: Got less hair than I thought I wanted, but somehow it looked longer than when I came in. (The very same day, neighbors said how much longer my hair looked, and healthy too.)\r 5: After many months and cuts, my hair looks better and better, truly.\r 6: Am now a loyal client with ladies in waiting (referrals), and hair that actually fetches compliments instead of hats.\r \r I always have had great experiences at 220, hope this is helpful, and doesn't land in the warzone. Pros: Talent, knowledge, relaxed atmosphere
