Check out celebrity Chef MAKO TANAKA and his new menu concept (starting Summer 2002):WHAT FUN! I call it Tapa-nese. Tasting plates -like Tapas- they call it Kei-ken - Food for Sharing. Highlights of the new menu is Sauteed Peppercorn Shrimp with Tangy Potato Salad Gomoku Chinese Black and White Fried Rice with confit of Seasonal Vegetables; Summer Tomato Salad with Tofu dressed with a Dried Shiso Leaf Plum Vinaigrette reads like an Asian Insalata Caprese - bright and clean on the pallete and I (am not a big tofu fan) loved it. The Whole Wok Fried Whole Fish of the Day with a Black Bean Truffle Sauce was the hit of the night - people were crunching on the bones! For the amount of food you end up trying definitely worth the price. With food this yummy, its no wonder that this place a secret industry hang out! Pros: Interesting Concept, More Veggie Options, Secret "IN" Scene Cons: Pacing Yourself, Can Get Crowded
