Review content:
I contracted Chem-Dry Empire to clean the carpeting of a 1200 sq ft home I am renting out. I arranged the cleaning in advance, authorizing services with the office manager prior to the service date.
The cleaners arrived in advance to collect keys so they could let themselves into the home on the service date (As I was unavailable). They were prompt, courteous, and efficient.
However, in my absence they proceeded to use several costly stain-removal treatments for which I did not previously authorize, and charged me for them. The carpet was not raked, matted down, and did not look professionally cleaned. Although, the cleaning job was OK, it was not what I had expected.
The business manager agreed to refund the cost of the services I did not authorize, which was appreciated.
I'd recommend thoroughly vetting the service, and personally witnessing the cleaning to ensure a good worksmanship.
