Review content:
Dr Simpson is approachable, caring, and a fabulous surgeon. \r
My heart broke when my dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and I was faced with the decision to amputate her leg. When we first visited Dr Simpson I was aprehensive but she quickly showed me I was in good hands. \r
She was kind and patient--I never felt rushed by her--and she took the time to answer all of my questions in clear terms. When she told me about K9 cancer and I got teary eyed she handed me the tissue box and said, "" I know, it is hard.""\r
She let me process as we talked through all the options, never swaying me one way or the other, just giving me the financial and medical facts with a compassionate tone. I came to my own decision to amputate and we made an appointment for the next week. \r
Dr Simpson encouraged me to call anytime with questions and to check in on my dog while she stayed the night at the hospital. And I did! The entire staff at Vetinary Surgical Center was warm and attentive. She also called me after surgery to see how we were doing. \r
I saw her just yesterday to get Indi's sutures out. When it was time to take Indi to the exam room I asked if my boyfriend and I could come, too. Dr Simpson said, ""We can just do it right here."" She and the vet tech sat on the floor where Indi was lying comfortably so we could all be together. \r
I trusted her with my dog's life and I would do it all over again. She is a smart surgeon with a gentle touch. I highly recommmed her to anyone who wants to the best medical care for their pet.
