Years ago, my husband was in the ER for what we thought was a heart attack, but it turned out to be something else. At that time, we got the worst service. Recently though, I was taken by ambulance to the ER and got top rate service. Not only were the paramedics totally professional and caring, the ER nurse was the same way. Then, Dr. Hartwig came in and he was an outstanding doctor. He was so professional, caring and knowledgeable. He kept my husband informed and also talked to me, not just my husband. I was treated like a real person. This hospital has really changed and I would recommend it to anybody. They are a quality hospital now. Earlier that same year, I was also taken to the ER and got the same type of treatment. So, I know this wasn't just a one time thing. This is the way they are now, professional, caring, courteous, knowledgeable and very, very friendly. I have absolutely no complaints about this hospital or the paramedics.
