The neurologist, Dr. Farabaugh, who treated our very ill 10-year dog, was excellent: we have great respect for him, for his hard & excellent work and warm, friendly, supportive manner. The women who cared for our dog in intensive care, during a long and difficult period--they were attentive and very good throughout.\r If you bring your pet to Angell Memorial, however, be prepared: it is very, very expensive. We are fortunate--lucky: we could pay the bills. But the bills are very high.\r And the billing office at Angell: the way that billing & paying are done in this office and at the front desk is pretty shocking. So insensitive!\r When you bring in your pet, the staff, the vet, etc., examine the animal and fill out a "treatment" sheet. You then are told to proceed to an office where you hand the sheet to someone who adds it all up, and then asks for your credit card. Your pet may be in bad shape, even dying; you may be very upset, distraught. It's no matter--they are intent on getting yo
