I have previously used the old Animal Emergency Clinic on Calder Road (across the parking lot) and was very happy with their care as a replacement for my own Veternarian. This time (8-6-2008), I was not pleased at all and will never return.\r I tried to take my dog in early this morning as she was very ill. She was not eating, drinking, vomiting and had lots of blood in her stool. She was very lethargic as well. This was very unusual behavior for her and I knew she was very ill. This was at 6:00AM. The clinic closes at 8:00AM. The girl that checked the animals in was not very receptive to my dogs illness. She asked me if I wanted them to check my dog out or wait until 8:00AM to see my own vet? I told her that my dog was only perking up at that moment because she was in her presence but had otherwise been very lethargic. The girl looked at her gums and said they were still pink and that she could probably wait to see my own vet that opened at 8 AM. In defense of the clinic, s
