Review content:
I took a very nice leather bag into their shop to be cleaned. Estimate given was $50 and I pointed out the spots that I thought deserved extra attention. When I went to pick up bag (after having to call myself to check on its status), it looked as if nothing had been done to it. I was told that to spot clean (since they said they had already cleaned and buffed the bag) it would be more money, which I was not told a month ago when I dropped the bag off at the shop.
This is the second time I have felt like I have been taken advantage of by this store. I thought the first one was a fluke, but clearly not. I will now take my bag some place else to have it cleaned for the fall and I will never go back to this store. The salesperson made me feel like I was over a barrel -- either pay more money to have it done right or leave.
I have had friends who have had good experiences here, but two strikes is enough for me.
