Just thinking about Pappadeaux is making my mouth water! I generally go there on the weekend for lunch as it is less crowded then. The service has always been fantastic and friendly. I typically order the same thing every time: The absolute best greek salad made tableside with a nice big shrimp or two in it - the quality of the shrimp is impeccable. Then we move on to the crabcakes - they are so flavorful and come dressed in a delicious buttery sauce with diced mango & tomatoes and crispy sweet potato strings on top. This is fresh crabmeat, people - not canned. Finally, we have to have a slice of sweet potato pecan pie a la mode. Don't skip this dessert, I'm telling you. I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes or pecan pie, but this is a marriage made in heaven. No matter how stuffed I am, I have to have some - even if it's to go!\r \r I have also had their fresh catch of the day with the alexander sauce (fresh lump crabmeat in a creamy sauce) is to die for.
