I took my dog here for seizure treatments after several people recommended their Neurologist, Dr Podell as "the best" in the area. I was not impressed at all with the care he received here. Once he labeled my dog as a "failure" in terms of seizure control after trying his specified treatment protocols, getting a callback from Dr Podell in times of need became almost an impossible task, even after 2+ years of visiting this place for checkups and emergency care. He was also reluctant to wean my dog from some of the drugs that were obviously not working, instead he kept stacking them off. My dog ended up in 4 AEDs. He favored the use of expensive drugs such as Keppra and Felbatol instead of KBr. He is also not open to alternative/complimentary care. Granted my dog's case wasn't an easy one, but I really wish he had at least return some of those phone calls and show some compassion and an open mind.
