Not to belabor the point made by others here... but the owner of this place can ruin an otherwise tasty meal with his throw-around air of superiority. Does he think he's the No. 1 arbiter of Mediterranean food and wine or is he impersonating some arrogant, self-centered Ottoman pasha??? In brief: four of us were dining here, enjoying a meal that was good (but not great --we've had tastier Turkish food elsewhere in Manhattan) when this pony-tailed individual approached our table questioning the fact that one of us had left more than half of the order on his plate. The reply was ""It's good but rather salty to my taste."" Whereupon Pasha Ponytail exploded, berating our taste and saying we knew nothing about good Turkish food. Sorry pal, but we have tasted better Adanas than yours, no matter what you say. I've been to Turkey, where courtesy is a trait, and suspect this fellow would not last long in the hospitality business there. SipSap: nice food but for me and friends it's gule-gule (Turkish for bye-bye).
