Review content:
Let me start out by saying that Dr. Rollins is a wonderful physician who truly seems to care about his patients. I know this from personal experience as well as from what friends have told me. The problem with the Midtown Medical Associates are the support staff. Dr. Rollins' nurse is not a pleasant person to deal with, you can leave several voicemails for her before she bothers to respond, and when she does, she has a very negative attitude. Is she overworked? Probably. But does that justify such a nasty communication style? As others have mentioned on here, the billing department is equally mean, threatening to send an overdue $10.00 copay (mistake was theirs) to my credit report. Really? For $10.00? Finally, the medical records people lost my medical records and it took them weeks to find it. How they lost it is beyond me, I mean, isn't their job to maintain the security and integrity of the medical files? I was never told where they finally found my medical records, but it didn't leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling that it could have been anywhere. Last (and definitely not least) if you've tried parking at Emory Crawford Hospital's parking lots, you know how incredibly difficult it can be to find a parking spot....and even worse, to find your car after your appointment. I have decided to go to another physician who comes recommended to me. I'm going to miss Dr. Rollins, but the support staff BS (and I mean BS in caps) was too much to deal with as a paying customer/patient.
