The Peabody Hotel, was an evening away for my Husband and I on our Anniversary. Upon check in the Valet and front desk staff were the first we saw. They were very courteous, efficient and surprising. You walk into a beautiful open lobby, where you will see a fountain that is the daytime home to the Peabody Ducks. The Ducks and there "Grand Marshall" were excellent! Just a fun presentation, you almost are taken back at the heritage as it unfolds. On the lobby level you will find a Piano bar with a neo classical theme. Don't forget to look up and see the beautiful chandelier! It is a perfect place to gather after your dinner and just sit and mingle or get lost in the atmosphere. Our room was on the 19th floor, beautiful city view! The room smelled very fresh and it was very comfortable to walk into. The beds are so soft! I have never slept so well. In the desk drawer is some info packets, and to purchase it, will cost $1400.00, I am still talking my husband into it! The pillows and bedspreads are the perfect down material. They provide you with bath robes during your stay. They don't look to comfortable, but they really are. The bathrooms are very spacey and even have T.V's in them, which is good, I didn't want to miss Denver's big win last night! The one thing I didn't like about the room is the "free channels", not a lot of variety, especially if you have kids or are staying over a long period of time. I will tell you the housekeeping staff is very, quick and clever! By the time my husband and I had come back from dinner, our bed had been turned down. They also left mints and a sweet dreams card, AND re-cleaned the bathroom! I was amazed! I had no clue that there housekeeping staff worked that late! All and all our stay was very pleasing! The hotel and staff should be VERY proud at there outstanding quality and customer service!
