I was quite surprised to drive a vehicle into the service area that had approximately 22K miles on it, still under factory warranty, and be told it required $382.46 worth of work done that was not covered under the warranty. The cabin air filter I can understand. Filters need replacing periodically. The flush of the fuel injectors I can understand. That need doing periodically too. Since the battery is about 3 years old I can also kinda understand that even though it was still working perfectly. What I can't understand is how an auto that has been babied and not driven roughly could require an alignment. It has not ever been driven over a large bump. Whatever alignment is on that car now is the same alignment that came with it from the factory. I am going to contact Hyundai about selling me a car that was misaligned. That should be covered by the warranty since that is the way I received the car.
