I googled Dr D. because my phone crapped out and I lost his number. I was amazed to find this web site. Some reviews didn't paint a pretty pic. of the office help. They have always been polite and friendly to me and my family. You do never get to see Dr. Descant, unless you make an appointment to see him. Then not only do you get the most friendly check up but he really takes the time to completely check you out. He does not run a puppy mill operation where it's in one door and out the other. He will ask you what else is going on. Most Dr.'s want you to make another appointment so they can bill insurance again. If the office help seems stressed they might be. My stress usually comes from the insurance company's bouncing us around from one Dr to another. Dr. Descant was the first Dr. I was recomended to when I move to Tomball in 1981. Like I said insurance forced me to jump drs several times so I have seen several in Tomball and I have to say that I am lucky that I am able to be back with Dr. Descant. When I have issues that I need Dr D to see I ask for him. The other times I ask for his great NP Nancy. See is great and knowlegable. They both review your records so they know what is going on. I have so much respect for Dr. D that I value his time and I do not want to waste it on issues that Nancy can easily handle. And now you can get your bloodwork done in his office. What a deal. I am sorry for those that might have had a bad visit. I am please to see that there are so few reviews. I think 5 or 6 bad reviews in the last 30 or more years that he has practiced speakes volumes for his practice. If I really thought Dr. Descant was no good I would not only not recommend him but I would be walking up and down the sidewalk protesting and letting the public know if you have been trully wronged. I do not know who sees this review. Probably not many. Reviews are just opinions that sometimes reflect the inner self. No you will not get better if you do not loose the extra 50 lbs. Most of the time we are our own worst
