My beloved dog of over a decade had a stroke today (Sunday). Rushed him over to Becker Animal Hospital and to try and save him was over $900. Before they would treat him, my husband had to drive 20 miles away to get a company check only to be told they machine would not read a company check on the weekend. Finally, pulled all the money together using 3 separate transactions - debit card, credit card and cash. They did not treat him until all the cash was there. My baby died today, needlessly and I am so heartbroke. They wasted time waiting for money and I wasted time and trust that they would do the right thing. Shame on them for not even trying to save him while my husband went to get a check!
