Having sustained a hip injury, I decided to ""order in"" recently. My husband pulled out a handful of door flyers from our kitchen drawer, and we thought maybe we'd have a pizza delivered. My husband was reading through a flyer from Soprano's and discovered that their menu wasn't limited to pizza only. He thought their Angel Hair Chicken Alfredo sounded good and I went along with it. We also ordered a Caesar salad. I was a little apprehensive knowing that Angel Hair pasta can become a solid mass when exposed to room temps and Romaine lettuce can get soggy in no time. BUT, #1 the delivery service was prompt & friendly, #2 there was plenty of food for 2 people (enough leftovers for lunch the following day), #3 it looked and smelled WONDERFUL and, most importantly, everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Talk about enjoying a home-cooked meal without even lifting a finger! Oh, and lest I forget, we also ordered their NY Cheesecake which was melt-in-your-mouth scrumptuous!!!! Last night we ordered a thin crust pizza & a couple of Cannolis. The pizza was the absolute best I've had since moving to TX 2-1/2 years ago. WOW! This could become a delicious habit!!! 5 stars to Soprano's!!!! To the customer who took issue with the Soprano's version of Caesar salad - - I, too, wondered why there was a generous slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber but, BIG DEAL, I just removed it and thoroughly enjoyed the crisp, clean, fresh & tasty lettuce. Dressing was served a la carte which kept the lettuce wonderfully crisp. I certainly wouldn't let something as insignificant as THAT cloud my decision to give Soprano's a try. Trying to figure out what to order tonight! Price is excellent, as well. Kudos to our friends at Soprano's!
