I've lived in Austin for some time now and Katz has always been a place I like to go occasionally but lately I can not get enough. The service, food and overall experience is what Austin is all about. Price is more than your typical fast food place but for what you get it is a GREAT deal. I splurged this time and saved room for dessert and I will never forget to leave room for that again. I had breakfast at 9pm and you just can't beat that and then had some sort of chocolate cake mousse like thing that the server suggested and it was amazing. I can't believe I even ordered though after eating the best omelet ever that I was able to pick exactly what i wanted. I mean with the choices they offer you it is like every time you just build your own meal. The service I notices is very casual friendly and homey feeling and they seemed genuienly concerned that my friends and I where happy with everything. I felt kinda special when the manager came buy to check how i liked the dessert but then noticed they talk to every table to make sure they are happy. Normally I don't write things like this but just had to share how great this place is. I am sure many of us go there after the clubs at night since it is 24 hours but I totally recommend going sober one day so you can remember and notice how good it is :).
