The billing practices if this hospital are unethical. I learned this 13 years ago, but why I didn't learn my lesson- I don't know- I delivered my son at this hospital in 2005, and they entered some coding incorrectly, which caused me to have an extremely High bill.I called the billing/accounting department countless times and the first two times I was on the phone for an extremely long time and both Reps informed me that the coding was entered incorrectly- They told me this- I didn't ask- I took their names and when I called back a while later, because I got a bill from a collections agency- I was Rudely told by another Rep that they do not know who I spoke to in the past, but the information was incorrect, I therefore told them where they can put their bill- anyway, I recently went to their imaging dept for a mammogram and had a biopsy procedure and they billed me and I discovered that they billed me for the bill from 2005- I contacted the BBB, FTC, and the Attorney General of Texas to report them. I am not done, this is unethical and I refuse to sit back and let them do something like this, because if they did it to me- there is no telling who else they will do it to. I am not real concerned about the $237.00 dollars, I am concerned about their practices.
