Review content:
The flame sensor was cleaned on initial visit which corrected the problem. Technician claimed the flame sensor required replacement. We paid $164+$69 service for the flame sensor which he did not have on the initial visit. On the second visit he claimed to have replaced the flame sensor but could not find the old one when we asked for the part. He provided us with another part from his truck which was an ignitor not a flame sensor. The unit works however we are uncertain if the overpriced part was required and if it was even replaced.
RESPONSE FROM Frymire Services, Inc.:
The part in question is part of a larger kit that includes not only a flame sensor, but also a spark igniter, wiring and bracket. The part was indeed replaced and we are sorry if our technician did not effectively communicate to the customer.
