Review content:
Went to the Pit a few weeks back after being told about by an associate. I must have had really bad timing because my experience was lousy! It was just after 1:00pm and I ordered the NC BBQ plate with Fries and Slaw. Well...this Nasty waitress (and I mean Nasty demeanor and she smelled like an ashtray with major B.O.) told me that the deep fryer was broken and I would have to choose another side! So I asked for the beans, even though I really enjoy Fries with my BBQ. Well, about 10 minutes later, she brought my Sweet Tea (man, this girl really had issues!). As far as the food went, the BBQ was good, but not as good as we used to get from OT's BBQ, which used to be on hwy 55 near Apex...that was GOOD STUFF! ...and my Beans were barely warm. I would love to go back since there are so many good-looking things on the menu, but I'm not going to risk my hard-earned money!
Pros: Some of the Food was Good
Cons: Defective Equipment, Nasty Waitress
