My boyfriend and I had a gift certificate to this restaurant for several months that we've been trying to use. The first two times we went it was in the middle of the week and was closed. The third time they were closed for a private party. This was our fourth attempt and we finally made it inside. Make sure to give them a call to see if their open first before you go. \r \r We got there when the piano players were in full swing after 8 p.m. The microphones were turned up so loud that the music and their singing was actually distorted and you couldn't even hear the words. \r \r I ordered a veggie pasta dish, but it came with shrimp on it (I'm a vegetarian). My boyfriend ordered a steak, which he said was okay. He also said my shrimp was tastier too. Drinks were overpriced and we just had beers. We couldn't speak a word to each other throughout the entire meal, and left as soon as our check was paid.\r \r Bottom line? The gimmick here seems to be to jack up the bill to support themselves, which is obvious by the shot tubes the waitresses tried to sell you, and the constant plea for cash from the piano players and the high cost of food. I've been to other piano bars before, but never as loud or overpriced as this. I won't go back again, which is a shame because those piano players were so good! Pros: Awesome piano players Cons: Too loud to enjoy--I actually went home with a headache!
