Absolutely fantastic bakery near Old Town Alexandria. Fabulous cakes - incredible designs - reasonable prices. In the long search for the perfect wedding cake we tried many well recommended bakers in the DC area. By FAR Alexandria Pastry was the best, delicious light cake without heavy buttercream icing and the typical “junky” cakes you see at most bakeries. While I didn’t end up using them , I return for slices of their heavenly cakes ALL the time. Highly recommended. Try to make an appointment if you are going for wedding cake tasting.
