Review content:
Most awesome lights and sound system in town. Too bad the guy running the lights is either lazy or more interested in hooking up than working... Another neat feature is the Kryogen blast system that cools the dance floor in a thick fog once an hour (first club in Texas to have it). HOWEVER, the rudest bartenders and staff I've ever encountered. If they ran this place well it would blow away it's major competitor down in Midtown. But instead you have to deal with attitude and weak drinks. Even though SoBe has the most awesome decor and facilitity, RICHS IS BETTER.
Addendum: visited again on 01/17/2003 and had a MUCH better time. This truly is the most impressive dance club in town - probably ranks up there with most any other club in the country.
Pros: state of the art, pretty people
Cons: attitude, weak drinks, expensive cover
