Review content:
I have been going to Emilio Salon since I lived two doors down in 1999-2000, I have since moved into a neighborhood in Boston about ten miles away. I do not have a car and have to rely on public transportation to get there, and it is worth every minute of it. Muffy or Paul usually cut my hair and do it better than anyone else. They are friendly and fun and always make it an enjoyable experience. I'm sorry that another poster had problems with Emilio, I can't speak for them because he has never cut my hair, but I know people who have had their hair cut by him and they seem to like him. If you really get to know them, they sometimes throw in free perks (like eyebrow waxing, highlights, etc) as a thank you.
Pros: Friendly service, they know and appreciate their customers
Cons: A little further from the T station that I like to walk, but on the 101 and 325 buses
