Businiess name:  Nicollet Island Inn

Review content:
The Sunday brunch has been changed and for the worse. Not worth the $30 per person price tag. The new format is a five course brunch, which limits selection of nearly all poorly prepared food. The food is either grossly overcooked (the shrimp and scallops in my bouillabaise was tough as nails) or extremely undercooked (the beef tenderloin sandwich was rare). Other things of note: the bread was stale; 5 piece pastry basket was extremely paltry to serve a table of five. Service is also not up to par with the cost. While the servers are amiable, they are undertrained and not attentive. They never refilled the orange juice that was provided upon seating. Had to be asked for tea. Never again will we return to the Nicollet Inn Restaurant. Pros: Fair view, rather charming inn, nice staff Cons: Overpriced, Poorly trained staff, Poor quality food
