i haven't actually eaten a real meal here. we were curious and spontaneously decided to check it out. it's a quaint little ""hobbit"" house hiding on richmond. the space is small and personable with the feel of actually being in the Shire, and the lord of the rings paraphernalia provides amusing eye candy. scanning through the menu, we gather that this place is a bit on the health nut side. we opted for the cheesecake dessert which didn't disappoint ... and due to our spontaniety, we ended up finding one of the best wines ever! for red wine lovers, try: HIGUERUELA - a tempranillo from the rioja region of spain. absolutely superb! the staff was friendly and amusing - accomodating our every need (even though we came late, they never rushed us) and provided interesting banter from time to time. the waiter even gave us the empty bottle of HIGUERUELA. definitely an interesting themed restaurant in houston to try.* Pros: quaint, friendly staff
