Review content:
I came to Dr. Berkowitz some years ago after years of classic chiropractic and found much more than I'd hoped for. Though she says she can't help everyone, I never imagined such a subtle technique could do so much good, sometimes immediately, in my case. I responded to the whole gamut of resources, the various types of adjustments, an approach to life that accepted who I was and what I did rather than treated me as sick and limited, dialogues that could be clinical, mundane, or philosophical. She's not dogmatic, doesn't scold or lecture. The human being and practitioner are both there for the many sides of the patient, and different patients set different tones. Her other patients whom I know are tellingly diverse--male, female, old, young, from the legal and business world as often as others, and I know they interact differently even if they like her for the same reasons I do. She believes in and uses conventional medical resources, and her techniques blend well with other forms of pursuing wellness. The combination has been really helpful especially with the range of orthopedic glitches over time.
