Review content:
As a videographer shooting commercials for Citysearch Houston, I get around to being invited to eat at many of Houston's best restaurants, and sometimes I write about them as I am doing now.
Now Joyce's is not a large place, it is quaint, and its not the most modern decor, in fact its sort of a throw back to the 70's. But Joyce's makes up in the cleanliness, hospitality and friendliness of the staff, and excellent food! I was blown away at the number of waitstaff at Joyce's, and their dedicated attention to serving their customers. Then there is their menu which has not only coastal varieties but inland fish and mussels... mmm! I had the Rainbow trout. Not many places Rainbow trout and it was scumptious! Back to the menu. You want to create your own dish? You can at Joyce's. How many places allow you to do that?Again it's their attention to serving their customers.
Pros: Superb service, neighborhood atmosphere
Cons: A bit difficult to find
