I have had several maintenance issues while living in my townhome and have had to literally fight and argue with them over things that they were supposed to be doing. Like the ice dams that we had on our roof this year. I told them they need to come out and get rid of them since we started to get leaking in our unit. They said that they had already come out once this year and removed snow from the rooftops. Ok, maybe some years once is enough but when you have a record setting year, I don't think so. That was not the issue though. There were 1 to 1 and a half foot ice dams on the roof and we were starting to get a leak into the unit. We told them we were going to get some out to do it ourselves since they didn't want to take care of it. They proceeded to tell us we could not do that and it was a common area covered by the association, AH... duh that is what we had been telling you. Of course it wasn't going to effect them but it could damage our unit and our insurance also told us if the damage we receive in our unit was caused by the roof issues, they would not be liable and would not cover it. I also told them that pretty much every unit had ice dams and I was sure they would have issues if they weren't already. They proceeded to tell us that there were other units having problems with leaking but related it to the new roof we had installed on the units. Finally after hours (pretty much 2 days and close to 12 hours) of back and forth they sent some out to do our unit and did only the other units that complained, but did not do any other units. How ridicules!!! Why not do all the units at once so they wouldn't have to pay a company to come out and do the work more than once. This is just one of the many experiences that I have had with this company. Needless to say they are very unprofessional and difficult to work with. Sad SAD SADDD!!!
