Review content:
My friend introduced me to Square One, and I've been forever thankful! I went at noon on a Saturday and at lunch on a weekday and there was absolutely *no* wait. A rarity for those hours at other Silver Lake eateries which serve breakfast or brunch. The eggs benedict with salmon does not disappoint, neither do many of the other dishes. Omelettes are soft and full of flavor, and the accompanying potatoes are fashioned with a crispy exterior and soft, starchy interior; cooked to perfection. The staff cannot be nicer: no attitude, helpful as can be, and extremely friendly without being too eager. Square One is situated in a pleasant little space on Fountain just west of Vermont, right across the street from the Scientology Center. Don't be surprised to see uniformed Scientologists roaming the streets...Parking is metered. Hooray for Square One, a welcome addition to the breakfast and brunch scene in the 'Lake!
Pros: Delicious, friendly, moderately priced
Cons: None!
