My buddy told me to check out this new bbq restaurant in Lakewood he couldn't stop raving about how awesome the food tastes. I took my family in last week and discovered they have a great kids menu and are actually a full-service place instead of those fast food type. It was really nice to sit down and have time to check out the menu and be waited on after a long day at the office. My wife and I ordered a slab of ribs to share and with it got two sides, baked beans and potato salad. the waiter told us about how the food is smoked fresh each day and that the sides are handmade in the morning...that's pretty awesome! The waiter then offered us a sample of their hot boiled peanuts. Not sure what they are, but heck yeah can't refuse a free sample. They weren't too bad, kind of salty and kind of potato like in texture.\r
The ribs were fantastic, even my wife who doen't care as much as I do about 'cue was surprised how delicious they were. We are definitly bringin the family back for their incredible 'cue which is I think the best around, it's about time.
