I just returned from a wedding in Athens, Georgia and I tried every BBQ place I could find there for a week and none compared to The Porch right here in Kent. I was raised in Seattle and frequented the great BBQ restaurants all along MLK Way and The Porch still wins. The food is original with great collard greens, and the best sweet potato pie around!! The service can't be beat. I have taken dates, grandchildren, co-workers and they all have been impressed with the attention they received in addition to the awesome food. I have a one hour lunch so I pop in there and get quick service, too. I am so pleased to have such a super spot in Kent to go to.
