Like most other Texas BBQ joints this place is old fashioned, decked out in Texas artifacts, and gives you a homey backyard kind of a feel. From the dance floor, to the live entertainment, the kids playground, and the horseshoes this is the exact kind of place to not only eat dinner but have an entire night out. From mouthwatering brisket, turkey, sausage, and ribs they have also recently added on a Carolina BBQ favorite pulled pork. Everything is pit smoked for hours giving you a nice smokey flavor, tender meat, and very moist BBQ that can stand alone without any sauce. I am one of those that believe that if you put sauce on BBQ you are destroying it. The sweet, tangy, and well balanced sauce made by Tin Roof though definitely elevates the experience in every sense. I can't even find the words to describe that sauce. It is just plain good. After you pick your meat, sandwich or my favorite the stuffed potato loaded up with sour cream, cheese, chives, chopped brisket, and of course a load of their sauce, you can move on to pick from among about a dozen different mouthwatering sides from mashed potatoes, to greens, mac n' cheese and much more. My favorite side is the fried to order Russet potato french fries. The fries are handmade come out of the oil hot and because they are Russets with a higher sugar content come out a beautiful brown color with a robust taste. When you walk in you will want to scream ""Howdy."" I think I hear the dinner bell ringing.
