I had not seen a dentist for many years before a friend recommend Pearl District Dental. My teeth and gums were not in good condition, but Dr. Miyamoto was extremely friendly, supportive, thorough and non-judgmental. She discussed several treatment alternatives with me, and now, a year later, I have completed most of the necessary work. I was pleasantly surprised by the advances in technology since I last visited the dentist.\r
I am saddened now that I have to leave this clinic since I've been transferred overseas (anyone know a good dentist in China?) \r
Dr. Miyamoto and her staff could not have been more professional and everyone in the office is extremely friendly. They spend time during an initial visit instructing you in good dental care, and I found that very useful. She and her staff also explain what they are doing during procedures. Also, having spent considerable amount of time with Marjan, the hygienist, she is a most wonderful soul and an excellent hygienist.\r
