Businiess name:  Dean of Shadyside Salon

Review content:
I'd been going to Dean of Shadyside since 2009 since a coworker gave me a coupon for a free haircut. I've generally had good experiences and my hair has looked great. At a previous appointment, I'd forgotten to bring the card that they give you when you prebook, and my price went up about $10. I figured this was because I forgot the card. As of last February or so, my stylist stopped working at the salon, I wasn't sure where she went, and Dean offed me a free cut, so I went back for that, and all was ok. But this last time, I brought the prebook card, and my price was more than when I didn't bring it. Did they stop the prebook discount? Their website lists different prices for different ""levels"" with no explanation of what this means. Would they have bumped up my ""level"" without telling me? I know we're in crappy economic times, but some explanation would have been nice. The price alone might not bother me too much, but my stylist this last time was a bit rude, barely said anything even though I tried to be friendly, and didn't ask what I thought after all was said and done (yeah, I know I could speak up, but you get the point). So, I might go somewhere else next time.
