Businiess name:  Diane's Alterations And Tailoring
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Expensive designer jeans? I wouldn't trust Diane's. They ruined three pairs of my brand new designer jeans and refused to refund even my alterations fee. You can see their stitching above the original hem, the length is too short, and one leg is shorter than the other - on all three pairs, and after two re-dos! Were they apologetic? NOOOOOO! Instead they were extremely rude and insisted that I was in the wrong. The apparent ""boss"" lady told me that I was ""unreasonable,"" and refused to refund my money - even though she never even saw the jeans on me. I said, ""You didn't even see the jeans on me."" She said she ""didn't need to"" see the jeans on me; it was, she stated, inherently unreasonable for me to request a third re-do. Even though the individual tailor herself admitted (after much contention and after a second opinion from my friend) that all three pairs had one leg 1/4 inch longer than the other - she said no one would notice and therefore, apparently, it was wrong of me to mind the length discrepancy. The man in back also chimed in, stating that I was in the wrong since they have been ""doing alterations since before [I was] born."" (I guess I need to be older to have an opinion.) Now I am out nearly $600 for my jeans plus the $65 alterations fee. And I am feeling pretty beaten up after all three of the Diane's employees told me what a horrible person I am for wanting my expensive designer jeans done right. I asked Diane's for my jeans back and I am taking them to Nordstrom to see about fixing them. I wish I would have gone to Nordstrom in the first place!!! Pros: Parking Cons: Rude, Poor Quality, No Refunds
