Review content:
I finally got around to trying The Oinkster and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I can honestly say that I am a huge Andre Guerrero fan! Although it is in a completely different realm of cuisine than his other two restaurants, he has managed to twist the out dated concept of fast food with a more modern concept of slow cooking classics. The pulled pork sandwich was flavor packed and tasted quite fresh. I had the rotisserie chicken which was decent but the black beans and plantains were just the way I like them! The only disappointment was the rants and raves over its Belgium fries...they are typical French fries only crispier. They are good but are nothing out of the ordinary. I thought the outside of the restaurant looked very good with its retro design however the lighting inside the restaurant needs some brightening. Pros: Good American Classics Cons: lighting
