I honestly gave up writing reviews on here but the service I received from Alooks Salon was GREAT! I had to write a review!\r

My stylist was NINA. I chose her because of the positive reviews I've read about her AND for the fact that she works with curly haired folks, like myself. Not everyone knows how to deal with curly hair but she was just AWESOME!!! She walks you through all your options & is really patient with you when making decisions. I've had the same hair style for years now because of having a number of really bad haircuts. I was terrified to try something new. She reassured me what she would be doing would work out...and it did!\r

I got color, highlights & a new hair style. I was listening to the other stylists chat while NINA was doing my hair & it was quite obvious that they know their stuff. Everyone there was so knowledgeable & very friendly. I got a good vibe from the place when I first walked in. I was only supposed to have a consultation at first but was convinced NINA would do great with my hair so my consultation turned into my appt immediately! I think I spent almost 3 hours with her. \r

I'm really happy with the outcome. The new cut & color takes some getting used to but that's not saying anything bad...it's just so weird to see myself so different after so many years :). Change is good.\r
Alooks and NINA rocks!!!!!
