I moved to San Jose about a year and a half ago. Prior to my move I went through 7 different hair dressers, never finding one that I felt was worth going back to. A family friend recommended I go to JOY at alooks salon when I got to San Jose and I can now say...my search for a steady hair dresser is now over. Joy is an amazing hair dresser. I love changing my look a lot and feel comfortable to go to her with no game plan and let her do what she thinks will look best. Every time my appointment is over I leave astonished that my hair looks even better than the time before. My color has never looked better and she has made the dreadful experience of growing my hair out an easy process. I actually really look forward to my hair appointments with Joy because not only do I get the best head massage every time, but I also get to relax and laugh with her, allowing me to escape from my insanely hectic life.
