The place is small, noisy- and very busy! Upon entering you walk to the counter to place your order. The menu is quite descriptive so you won't feel intimidated by the selections- each item is enough for a medium-sized meal; order two if you are quite hungry. Keep in mind that this is the McDonald's of Indian food. It's fast, cheap, but there's little to no service. Once you place your order, grab a paper cup and a pitcher of water and find a table. When your food is ready they'll call out your name. If you need anything else during the meal (another dish, a custom-made drink, etc.) just go up and ask for it- they'll add it to your order and call you when it's ready. If you need a soda from the case just get it and let them know you had one when you go to pay the bill. Pretty simple, straight-forward and easy to do- just don't expect a sit-down full-service restaurant. That's not even what they're trying to be! The food was quite fresh and flavorful. While not as savory as northern or southern indian food, these Bombay dishes are very satisfying. Hints of tamarind and other sweet flavors permeate nearly every dish. I would recommend their sampler platter- it is more than enough for 2 people and lets you get a taste of 5 or so dishes. For the unfamiliar- don't over-order as these dishes will not travel well for a later meal- they'll get soggy. Pros: Cheap, fresh, flavorful, unique Cons: Noisy, crowded
