If you are looking for a Ballet Academy that will teach solid ballet technique, vocabulary and repertoire while instilling love, appreciation and skill in a nurturing, encouraging and rich environment then The Portland Ballet is it! I have two daughters who have been continually inspired, supported, encouraged and respected by all the teachers at The Portland Ballet. \r
The Portland Ballet is unique in that it truly looks at each developmental stage of the dancer and while creating challenge they are cognizant of when it is physically and emotionally healthy to give more challenge and when to wait. They truly take a holistic approach to educating and inspiring the dancer! Both my daughters who began in Creative Ballet class at 5 years old and now in Middle school and High School have developed beautiful bodies, minds, spirits and friendships at The Portland Ballet. I highly recommend the top notch teaching, the supportive cultural environment and exposure to live music, artful stage productions and honest guidance. If you want the best, The Portland Ballet should is it!
